                   SPECIAL EVENT HAPPENING IN EL CERRITO IN FEBRUARY, 2012 in El Cerrito                                                                                                                                               

Circle Dance Weekend Workshop February 18th & 19th in El Cerrito at Hillside Church.  Maureen and other organizers from Bay Area Circle Dancers will be hosting two amazing teachers from England, Stefan & Bethan Freedman.  Many of the dances Maureen has learned came from attending their workshops.  For full details go to www.circledancing.com

Dancing is being taught through H.A.R.D.:

Maureen teaches through Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (H.A.R.D.).  Classes are at the Castro Valley Community Center and the Hayward Area Senior Center.  For details on these and future classes go to:  www.haywardrec.org  It is listed as "Folk Dance for Seniors" and "Community & Folk Dance"

In San Leandro:

*Dancing at The Neighborhood Center

Every 2nd and 4th Saturdays 7pm - 9pm

At All Saints Episcopal Church   911 Dowling Blvd., San Leandro, CA 94577  
Cost: Sliding scale, $5-$10 per session

In El Cerrito:

Maureen teaches with the Bay Area Circle Dancers in El Cerrito on a rotating schedule with 3 other teachers.

At The Home of Truth Spiritual Center, 1300 Grand Street, Alameda--in the Garden Cottage, a cozy space nestled in the back. 

Every 2nd Friday 7pm - 8pm 

"The Sacred Dance Hour"   Learn relaxing, meditative dances.  Cost is by donation.

At the High Street Station Cafe, 1303 High Street

Saturday, February 5th & February 19th, 4pm - 5pm

"Maureen's Folk Dance"  Beginners Welcome, Cost:  Sliding scale, $5 - $15 per session

At Mastick Senior Center, 1155 Santa Clara Ave.

Every Friday, 10am - 11am     January 20 through February 10, 2012

A second session will be starting February 16th through March 9, 2012--same day and time.
